What we install
Four materials, one crew that knows all of them.
We are experienced installers of cedar shakes (also called wood shingles), slate — real and faux — and metal roofing, including standing seam, structural panel and metal shingles.
And we have earned the distinction of being certified as one of the select few GAF Master Elite Roofing Contractors for the installation of asphalt shingles. Only about 3% of roofing contractors in the United States hold it.

GAF warranties
As a Master Elite contractor we can offer the best coverage in the industry.
Both warranties below can only be registered by a Master Elite contractor. Read the terms — the difference between them is workmanship.
Weather Stopper System Plus
- 100% coverage for the first 50 years on material and the labor to replace any defective material; prorated from year 51 at 20%.
- Transferable once.
- Buildings other than single-family residences have full coverage for the first 40 years, prorated at 20% from year 41 on.
- Covers defective material and the labor to replace it only. It does not cover errors in installation workmanship.
Golden Pledge — the industry's best
- 100% coverage for the first 50 years on material and the labor to replace it; prorated from year 51 at 20%.
- 100% coverage for the first 25 years on workmanship on all installed GAF products.
- After we register it, a GAF field inspector visits your property, inspects all work, and issues a punch list of corrections we must remedy. GAF inspectors have no direct communication with Master Elite contractors, which preserves the integrity of the inspection.
- Transferable once.
- Non-residential buildings: 40 years full on material, prorated at 20% from year 41; 20 years full on workmanship.

Material 01
Asphalt shingle roofs
The system underneath matters as much as the shingle: ice-and-water shield at the eaves and valleys, proper underlayment, correct ventilation, and flashing that is formed rather than caulked.
Material 02
Metal roofing
Standing seam panel, structural metal and metal shingles — with the flashing, valleys and transitions fabricated in our own shop.
Material 03
Slate roofs
Real and synthetic slate, frequently with hand-formed copper valleys and ridges. Much of this work is on historic buildings where the detail has to match what was there.
Material 04
Cedar shake & wood shingle roofs
Wood roofs are unforgiving of shortcuts. Coursing, exposure and ventilation decide whether they last 20 years or 40.
In-house
Our own sheet metal shop.
We have a fully operational sheet metal shop and the ability to custom-fabricate components for any job — copper valleys, ridges, copings, counter-flashing, chimney pans, drip edge and one-off details for historic buildings.
It means we are not waiting on a supplier to approximate a detail, and it means the metal on your roof was made for your roof.
